Where else would I start, except with baptism? Ironically, just today I saw a link somewhere online, I think while I was at Amazon.com, for a Churches of Christ site with the lead “Why Baptism is Essential.” I wish it would have said, “Why Jesus is Essential,” but I guess that’s a given.

It has been a while since my last post and a lot of things have happened. We travelled to Missouri for my Mother’s 80th birthday and then spent some time in Arkansas with my Son and his Wife. Down there and in southern MO the forcythia (not sure how to spell it..those bright yellow bushes) [...]
